What was the highlight of Mercure Parma Stendhal Hotel

This is a pleasant hotel in an excellent location for visiting Parma.

The hotel is nice and quite comfortable, and the location is extremely convenient to the historic center of Parma. Parking is available (at an extra cost) at a garage immediately adjacent to the hotel.

There was a minor issue with an irritating, flashing red LED on the smoke detector in the room, but nothing I haven't experienced at other hotels.

Very Good

location is great, walking distance to the train station, nearby has Esse and cafe room is old design but bed is comfort, need to inform them to turn the air conditioner to manual mode if you prefer your room to be colder staff is friendly , always receive warm welcome when i step in the hotel especially at night i checked out to another city for few days and when i'm back to Mercure the staff placed my luggage into my room without the hassle for me to carry it myself

fair place to stay but noisy street

breakfast was very good. location was good. Parking was very next to hotel and very convenient although have to pay extra money which is worthwhile. The hotel is in the corner of street and was noisy . The street cleaning people started cleaning the street early in the morning with loud noise although it has nothing to do with the hotel.

location is near train station, walking distance of 6-7 mins breakfast was good but the same every day room is old design, small but clean the staff is very polite and good service

Convenient location to train, elegant furnishings and excellent breakfast offerings

Very helpful staff upon arrival. Location a close walk from the train station. Excellent breakfast offered in the morning including eggs, bacon, toast, pastries not to mention fresh fruit and hot cereals.

I asked about a taxi for the next morning and was told, no problem, come down 10 min ahead of time in the morning. When we did so, no taxi available, all booked. It isnot far to the train station, but I have a bad foot.

Location perfect. Large room and bathroom. Loved the fridge. Bed perfect and large as advertised.

Parking is in a basement 10 meters away. Very expensive.....EU 18.00 for 24 hrs. The basement is so cramped that you have to leave the car keys with the attendant who moves the cars around as they are needed.

The location was ideal for our Parma plans. Staff were very helpful and polite. The room was large and the atmosphere was quiet. They provided luggage storage, while we toured Parma.

Air conditioner could have been more effective.
